School Advocacy Training Workshop
Empowering Parents and Students to Navigate the Public School System and Build Community
Join us for a special workshop designed to empower parents and students in understanding the educational landscape and learning how to advocate for Muslim students in public schools.
Event Details:
- Two simultaneous sessions: one for parents and one for students (6th-12th grade).
- Equip yourself with knowledge of your rights and roles as a parent or student.
- Learn advocacy strategies, connect with others, and build a supportive community.
- Open to parents, students, youth counselors, support staff, and concerned community members.
Note: Parents do not need to attend for their youth to participate, but your presence is encouraged!
