
Weekend School: Level VI
ICPC’s weekend school incorporates education and fun in an Islamic environment. There is a strong emphasis on the Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies. Students are split into classrooms based on a combination of their age and Arabic language level. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to read/write Arabic, have Quran memorized, and understand Islamic concepts related to themselves, their family, their community and the larger surrounding community.
Knowledge
Students are able to practise and list the rules of Salatut Tarawih – Salatul Eidain Revise Salatul Juma and Salatul Witr- Demonstrate understanding of the importance of Family life and importance of community life in Islam – tell and reflect on lessons learnt from the 4 stories of Surat Al Kahf
Memorization
Surat# 49 الحجرات ٍSelection of 5 hadiths on morals in Islam
Skills
Students are able to read, write, speak and understand any arabic text – Students are able to present material – Students are able to read, and understand the general meaning of any quran text
Behavior
Students are able to lead groups of younger children in community service or educational programs
